From Here to Health

My journey back from autoimmune disease

Daily Log

Sleep– Another great night.  10:30-6:30.  So thrilled with this trend.

Exercise– 2.5 mile outdoor walk with husband, CrossFit class- we did overhead squats and rowing.  My time was 12:44 and I used a 15 pound bar

Breakfast – leftover strawberries fields salad w/out the lettuce- we finished off the lettuce last night so it was just chicken, strawberries, pecans and blue cheese

Snack – 1/2 a ThinkThin protein bar

Lunch –

Elliston Soda Shop

So this is where we ate lunch.  It was our last day in Nashville and my husband wanted to go to the oldest book store in Tennessee. It happened to be right next door to the oldest restaurant in Nashville.  It was super cute.  I had a vegetable plate- steamed broccoli, baked squash and sweet potato fries.  Since they were famed for having incredible desserts we got the snickers pie.  I had a couple bites off the top, avoiding the crust and let Doug have the rest.

Snack – other half of ThinkThink Bar and handful of Paleo Crunch

Dinner – 3/4 cup of Nooodes.  No I did not put too many o’s in Nooodles.  We tried these noodles tonight that were made from yam flour.  They have no calories, no protein, no fat, no sugar, no carbs – so essentially they don’t really exist!  Anyway, we put them with a vegetable tomato sauce with a little shredded parmesan.  I thought they were pretty good.  I expected them to be mushy but they were actually pretty firm. Then I split an organic gala apple with Finn.
